The Longford County Choir had a service of Song and Word for peace in St Mel’s Cathedral last week on the 25th of Nov. Thanks to Father James who helped facilitate it and added some nice words in it also, and Gerry the sacristan who handed out with programs. Fintan Farrelly Organist and all the singers who sang beautifully made it a very special evening of song and words for peace. On the 18th of Dec the Longford County Choir is back in St Mel’s Cathedral, with a Christmas concert, if you missed out this time, put that date in your diary.
