75th anniversary of the Teffia Park estate, Longford, Ireland, 2021. celebrated on Saturday 4th of Dec with a planting of a birch tree to replace one that was felled this year. Young and old were in attendance, Councilor Gerry Warnock spoke highly of the very active residents committee that keep Teffia in such a good state, year in year out.

I can honestly say I had the best times as a young boy growing up in Teffia. We lived in no 16 when we first got to Teffia and then no 13 as the family increased. I left Teffia in 1960 in search of adventure, I spent a few years around the UK before migrating here to Australia in 1968 – now in Coolum, Queensland where I live today. Teffia and indeed Longford will always be in my blood. They say you can take the man out of Teffia but never Teffia out of the man. Thank you Longford and in particular Teffia
